Pacific Pensionne

The room was on the small side and a bit old, but the staff were lovely and accommodating. No complaints about the free breakfast either.

Breakfast is included, and they provide towels and toiletries. The rooms are good for the price, clean and practical, with an attached bathroom and shower curtain. The aircon and WiFi both worked well. There’s a nice outdoor seating area, though it has no lights in the evening. 7 eleven is a one-minute walk away.

Room prices are very affordable, and it’s just a few minutes from magellan's cross and sto niño church.

We checked in, went out for Sunday mass and then dinner, and came back at nearly 10pm to find cockroaches everywhere. It was horrible. They weren’t just little ones either. We killed about three big ones and five small ones. Anyone who’s really scared of these pests should know this hotel seems to have a lot of them. How are you supposed to sleep with a colony like that? 😱😱😱 We left for another hotel as soon as we got confirmation there was a room. I didn’t argue, even though I know I had a right to a refund. We were rushing because our Grab car was already on its way, and there’s no elevator. I hope Agoda makes it clear when a hotel has no elevator, since that could cause sick people to collapse or suffer a stroke. I’m hypertensive and have a heart problem myself, but had no choice because the reservation was already booked and paid for. Please take these things into consideration.
