Valleyfront Hotel

The smell in Room 426 was unpleasant, like it had been painted recently. The air conditioner thermostat didn’t work, so I had to get up and adjust it manually every few hours. There wasn’t even a toilet seat, which seems like a basic thing a hotel room should have.

The staff were especially good, and most things were fine. Our bathroom was small, and our room had no windows. The lounge and bar lighting was so dim that, to me, it took away some of my appetite. Still, it’s a good place.

The guard was nice, and that’s the one star. The room itself was a really bad experience: it smelled funky, the sheets and towel were dirty, and the pillows were dirty and had no covers. There were stained chairs and lights that didn’t work, and housekeeping was noisy. Even the sandwiches wouldn’t stay together despite the toothpick. Short stays aren’t just for sex clients. Some people arrive in the city late and need a clean room for a few hours. This was seriously not worth the price.

When my wife and I arrived, the staff took us straight to the back of the hotel and asked how many hours I wanted the room for. Only after I said I had a reservation did they send us to the front desk. They didn’t apologize for treating my wife as if she were a paid girl, and it ruined our stay.
