The rooms were clean and pleasant. The staff were lovely and helpful, quick to respond and took good care of us. We’d definitely stay here again.

After a six-hour bus trip from Dumaguete, I arrived at the hotel only to be told they had knowingly given my reservation to someone else. I’d called ahead and booked, and they asked me to "consider" the situation. That’s unprofessional and disappointing. I’ll never book with ZEN Rooms again.

The service was okay, but having to leave a 1000php security deposit seems odd. The rooms weren’t great either. One window wouldn’t lock fully, so outside noise came in all night. The neighborhood felt creepy.

The staff at Zen rooms at 827 m velez street were incredibly nice and helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable. I usually wait until checkout to leave a review, but this stay was so great that I’m writing now. Thanks to everyone on staff. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to Cebu.

I stopped by to ask whether they had a room available, and the front desk guy working there was such a disappointment. His attitude came across as unpleasant and careless.
