Hotel Capada

The room itself seems decent for what it costs, which is why I gave it any stars. But the air conditioner barely cools it, and the noise made sleep impossible. I couldn't tell whether it came from a club or a street bar. Even earplugs didn't help; it felt like I was in the middle of the party. If you're coming for a proper night's sleep, don't.

Good value for the price. The room was comfortable, and both the bed linen and bath linen were very clean. Reception staff were polite and helpful.

We keep coming back as a family, and the cozy, homely feel is a big part of why. The lobby's warm decor and attentive service make us feel at home as soon as we arrive. The staff are friendly, and housekeeping keeps the rooms immaculate, with crisp sheets and spotless bathrooms. There isn't a parking lot, but the nearby alternatives were convenient and the front desk staff helped us with them. Even with the hotel's limitations, our stays have been pleasant for years. It's a reliable little gem that continues to win us over.

There are four floors and no lift, so be prepared for the stairs. It's a low-budget hotel, but the location is great, very close to Cebu city. There's a fridge by the entrance stocked with cold beer and soft drinks.
