The place is really nice and relaxing, and the food tastes good. Service could be better, though. Both food and drinks took a while, and we had to remind the crew about our order. They should also remove the dogs and cats, especially for guests who aren't comfortable around them.

The view was fantastic, though that's what you expect from a waterfront place in the Philippines. The wait staff were excellent too, as they are at most resorts here. Still, for what we paid, I expected more. Street noise came into the room, and the aircon was loud and barely worked. We had two bathroom problems, but they were fixed. The menu looked extensive, yet most dishes weren't available. The coffee machine was broken, so instant was the only option. Breakfast today was limited to pancakes or Beef Tapa. If I come back to Concepcion, I'll look for somewhere else to stay.

The dirty pool was left that way even though guests were staying there, which felt very irresponsible. We were told we couldn't use it at 5 pm on check-in day, and that it would be ready the next morning, but it still wasn't. We understood about having no wifi, so that wasn't an issue. We had come from Iloilo City to celebrate our wedding anniversary, excited after seeing the social media posts and expecting a relaxing stay. Instead, we went home in tears. The experience was traumatic and nothing like what the posts had shown. The high rates would have been acceptable if the place and service had been worth it, but they weren't. We waited until the day after checkout to give feedback because we didn't want to make a scene. Please do something about this.

The room was okay, but there were so many cats. We waited over 45 minutes for the food, and when it arrived it was too cold. The bacon was dry and cold, and the tapa was so hard to chew. To me, it wasn't worth it.
