Coron 180 Hotel

Tours, travel, bikes, and other arrangements were easy to book through the friendly, helpful staff, which saved us the research hassle. I had a pleasant stay, especially thanks to the lovely balcony view and consistently professional service. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and breakfast each morning was excellent, definitely a highlight. The room felt a little cramped, and I was disappointed there was no TV. The on-site restaurant was also quite expensive for what it offered. Still, it was a good experience overall, with a few things that could be improved.

Our room had a balcony, and the rooms are clean and very modern. The hotel's right on the main city street, and the bathroom was nice, with a strong hot shower. Room service was efficient and friendly. The front desk staff were courteous and knowledgeable, especially Phillippe, who recommended and booked our boat tours in Coron. Many thanks to him. Breakfast on the roof terrace was varied and plentiful. I'd recommend dining there too, the meals were delicious and reasonably priced. Hope to come back soon! Paul from Food & Beverage helped turn my last day around. After two days of typhoon weather and canceled water activities, I wasn't sure what to do, and he suggested a few things, including a beach in Tagumpay. It was a gorgeous, almost hidden-feeling spot. The rest of the stay at Hotel Coron 180 was lovely too. Crisel at the front desk was warm and kept checking that I was doing okay, and the food and beverage servers were friendly and attentive. The hotel food was delicious. My room was clean and comfortable, and the balcony had beautiful views whenever the rain let up. The location made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. It rained on and off through most of my three days, but I'd happily stay here again when I'm back in Coron.

The staff were good, the lift was handy with heavy luggage, and the location was easy to get around from. But the room and how the facilities were managed made the stay feel poor value. The online photos led me to expect a full sunset view, though apparently only two rooms have that, while the rest look partly out or toward the city. I went up to the rooftop restaurant to catch the sunset and found it closed for a private event. There hadn't been any notice or signs saying so.
