Casa Coron Hotel

It's a shame, because the employees were kind and helpful. But the rooms were infested with bedbugs, and when we contacted the property for an explanation, we never got a reply. It was also very noisy at night, with the windows doing a poor job of keeping sound out.

The location is perfect, and if you're mostly out on boat tours, the room is fine just for sleeping. It's very simple inside, the TV didn't work properly, and neither window could be opened. Both were very dirty. Breakfast is made when you order it, so expect to wait about 15 minutes.

The staff were really polite and helpful, and the free breakfast is handy before heading out on tours. The room is bare bones, but it's right in the heart of the city, though being central didn't matter as much as I expected. The blankets were extremely thin. I figured that might be okay in the tropics, but it's not what we're used to. Great value for the price if you don't need a cushy hotel.

The hotel's in a handy spot in the mini center, with plenty of restaurants and nightlife nearby. Since there isn't much to do in Coron beyond the daily tours, that location works well. The rooms are a decent size and the staff are very friendly. The bathroom needs some updating: the windows were extremely dirty, and there was a bad smell coming from the drain.
