SunzEn Palawan, Resort (Sunz En Coron Resort)

The staff are what made this place stand out for me. They were warm, incredibly friendly, and helpful with just about anything we needed, and seemed to notice every little detail. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the large pool area was well kept with plenty of places to sit and unwind after a day out. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and this one is among the standouts. It's close to the city center, so getting around was convenient, but the setting still felt relaxing. My stay was amazing from beginning to end. In Coron, I'd stay here again without hesitation.

We booked a tour through the resort and were happy with it, and renting motorbikes there for a day was easy. The staff were nice and tried hard, though they seemed a little clueless. Thanks to the team. I just wish we'd booked the family room with two double beds for more space. Our triple room was extremely cramped, basically a double with a single bed squeezed in, leaving hardly any room for our things or to move around the bed. The shower is over the toilet, so the bathroom gets wet, but honestly that was fine. The hot water and decent pressure were welcome. The restaurant was pricey and not especially good, while breakfast was fine but nothing exciting. The pool was lovely, the rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The location is a little outside town, which made it quiet, and getting around by tricycle was easy. The complimentary ride was much appreciated. It was really good value for what we paid.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we spent some time relaxing by the pool. I liked how peaceful it felt, almost like a little oasis. The hotel is close enough to walk into town, but just far enough out to stay quiet. Breakfast was included, which made the stay especially good value. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and the free tuktuk into the town centre came in handy.

The on-site restaurant was a big plus after long days island hopping, and we enjoyed the food there. The resort is also less than a five-minute walk from McDonald’s and not far from town. A free one-way tricycle ride into town is available from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, which was convenient. Our family of four, two adults and kids aged 12 and 14, fit comfortably in a spacious room. There’s a nice pool and several cottages where you can sit and relax. Breakfast had a good selection of around 8-10 dishes, including Filipino, Korean, and American options, plus fruit and juice. Some floors and walkways had stains and could use better maintenance. Even so, we found it comfortable and suitable for families.
