Hotel Monde

Being downtown made it easy to get to restaurants, shops, and city sights. The staff were friendly and helpful, though check-in could drag a little at busy times. My room was clean and well kept, with the basics I needed. A practical, comfortable place to stay in Dagupan City.

The easy check-in and checkout were a plus, and the room came with towels, shampoo, soap, a dental kit, a fridge, and air conditioning that worked. The bed was clean, though uncomfortable, and the thin towel provided as a blanket wasn't much help. We didn't use the TV, and getting onto the Wi-Fi through the QR code wasn't clear. The fridge needed to be switched on and turned up, and took a long time to cool. The bathroom was the worst part. The toilet leaked, everything felt dirty and unhygienic, and the shower was awful. There was a smell, which may be why the windows were open when we arrived. Dust was left on the cupboards and furniture, and there was water damage on every ceiling. The room itself wasn't clean, and the price was double what it showed online, which didn't feel justified. The place seems past its best, with more attention paid to girly decor than hygiene. I can't recommend it.

For a fairly cheap price, the suite was a relaxing place to stay. It was comfortable and very clean, with nice decorations, a TV, mini fridge, vanity mirror, and several outlets. The bathroom could use more hooks.

We enjoyed staying here. The room looked neat, had a nice atmosphere, and the air conditioning kept it cool. The only reason for four stars is the weak mobile data and Wi-Fi. Also, slippers in the CR would help since the wet floor gets slippery.
