The event noise was the biggest problem for us. The owner apparently held a gathering with videoke while guests were staying on the ground floor. We were told it would stop at 10pm, and the machine did go off, but people kept shouting into the mic. A few minutes later it was turned on again. Even at lower volume, it was very loud right beside our room. It felt inconsiderate to paying guests. There isn't much to do at the resort itself, and you'll need a tricab to get to Alona for exploring or food. I also wish they'd provide disposable slippers like many beach resorts do. Breakfast was another letdown. The corned beef was too salty, the hotdog wasn't appetizing, and the paid continental meal had dry bread and unpleasant bacon. We settled for the hotdog because there wasn't a better option. Still, the staff were kind and respectful, especially the guards, and often helped without being asked. The resort was clean, the pools looked well maintained, and room cleaning or fresh towels came quickly when we requested them. There's a reasonably priced little store nearby, and the bathroom's hot shower is helpful if you have seniors who are sensitive to cold water. I'd recommend the place for its cleanliness and staff, but warn people about noise and breakfast. It has a lot going for it, but the event noise policy needs attention.

The location is a long way from the city center. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was okay. Wi-Fi worked decently on the second floor. The pool was cleaned regularly, and the hotel has a working generator, which came in handy during power outages.

There's a convenience store and laundry near the entrance, plus restaurants nearby. Guests can use the kitchen to cook and prepare food. We found it accessible and budget-friendly, with great customer service. The crew were very accommodating, and we loved the rooms. A lovely place to unwind with family or friends.
