The reef right in front of the resort is full of colour, and the turtles there don’t seem afraid of people swimming nearby. I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Atmosphere and fell in love with the place. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all the waiters and receptionists know your name and greet you personally, which makes the stay feel special. I’m sure I’ll come back to work on my diving skills. The dive shop is one of the best in the country.

I took the Padi Advanced Open Water course with a superb instructor, then went on some amazing recreational dives at the house reef and Apo island. The facilities are especially good for underwater photography and technical diving, and I’d highly recommend this outstanding dive resort. The hotel is fantastic too, with simple, comfortable, clean rooms in beautiful thatched cottages. The restaurant is outstanding, and the staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. I left with happy memories.

After a day of diving, the hotel was a comfortable, well-kept place to relax. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the dive guide was especially good: knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about finding even the tiniest, rarest creatures. I also really enjoyed the bamboo stick massage. It was unusual and deeply relaxing. For macro diving, the Atmosphere Hotel is an outstanding destination. We saw a huge variety of marine life, including ghost pipefish, frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, blue-ring octopus, and plenty more. It was unforgettable, and the resort combines fantastic diving with great service and comfort. Highly recommended.

The lack of attention from the staff was the most disappointing part of dinner at Breeze. After serving our opening drinks, they left us on our own. We had to wave someone over to place our order and ask for the table to be cleared between courses. We even had to bring the wine bottle over ourselves. There were only a few servers nearby, and none seemed happy to be serving. It felt almost surreal on such beautiful grounds by the sea, as though the staff didn’t realize guests were there. Please bring the smiles back. My fiancé and I live in the area and booked an early dinner for 5 p.m. to see whether the website’s promising description held up. We left confused by the experience. The prices were high, even over the top for Negros Oriental, and the food didn’t impress us as much as we expected. We paid a little over 12k for two courses each and a bottle of wine. The chairs were also uncomfortable because they sat too low relative to the table. We’ve eaten at different high-end restaurants in Makati and BGC, so we have a comparison. For me, Atmosphere was by far the lowest on the price, quality, and service equation, with service being the real weak spot. Thanks for reading my honest review.
