The property is lovely, with a beautiful view and clean sea, which makes the way the staff treated us especially disappointing. They were noisy and shouting a lot, and seemed to lack basic hospitality manners. On our first day, I asked the front desk about changing rooms because construction noise was coming from the second floor. They said the workers would only paint the next day, so we stayed. But the next morning there was still a lot of noise, and we couldn’t get enough sleep. It’s my husband’s birthday today, and since we couldn’t enjoy our stay, we decided to check out early. When I asked a staff member to refill my water tumbler, they laughed at me and showed no respect for guests. We also asked to keep a small amount of food in the refrigerator and were told we couldn’t. The place itself is nice, but the staff’s poor attitude ruined our stay.

We were charged ₱700 for an extra foam we requested. Is it for rent or for sale? There was nowhere to park, which was very disturbing, and the swimming pool was unclean. People kept entering our private room every hour without knocking, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable. The air condition in Family Room 14 wasn’t working, and with five people inside it was extremely hot, honestly like a prison. The bedsheets had old stains, and they seemed to imply we had caused them. Were we expected to pay extra? Ordering food felt like a waste of money. It had no taste, except the pizza, which was good. The pancit guisado was undercooked. The sinigang na baboy had almost no meat, just fatty parts and vegetables. What kind of sinigang na gulay is that? We had drinks outside the resort in the public beach area, but were still charged corkage. When we asked how much the fee was, staff didn’t know. We bought mojitos from them instead because they seemed absent-minded. The staff weren’t prepared for their jobs, didn’t know basic information, and couldn’t even greet guests properly with a good morning or good evening. This experience was very disappointing and far from what a 3-star resort should offer. Sad 🙂

The room didn’t feel like a resort at all. For that price, it looked more like an affordable inn or lodging house. The staff were inept and showed no basic courtesy to guests. When we asked them to heat our food, all they said was that they were busy in the kitchen.

We only found out when leaving that the outside seating area cost 100p per person, even though we had bought food. Nobody told us when we arrived, while we sat for 30 minutes, when we asked for a menu, when we ordered, after eating, after paying, or after swimming in the sea. They mentioned it only as we were leaving. We would have bought drinks, but the choices were very limited. We also asked for more food, but they didn’t have what they advertised.

I usually stay here every year when there’s an event in dauin, so I was surprised when friends who walked in and stayed just outside the resort were charged 100 pesos per head. Even if you check in, you can’t use the downstairs wash room after 11pm. The staff are very rude, and it seems everything is forbidden, even playing very quiet music.
