The pool and beach are available, and the place feels very relaxing. There’s a 500-per-person entrance fee, with 250 usable toward food and 250 for pool access. The menu is a little pricey, though the portions are reasonable. We arrived very early, at 7AM, and they happily let us in even though it was much earlier than opening time.

We booked two nights at VIB, at Sea Dream, as a base for a day trip to Apo Island. The accommodation and resort were great, with an amazing pool overlooking the ocean. The onsite restaurant was okay, though quite expensive for the quality, which is what you might expect at a resort. We tried arranging a boat trip through the resort, but their 8000php price was massively overpriced and covered only the trip there and back, with no guide, lunch, or anything else. Through a friend’s resort we found a trip for 1600php per person, and it was one of the best days of our four-month honeymoon. For a taxi, skip the hotel’s 900php option and take a trike for 400php instead.

A nice spot, though it really seems geared toward divers. Meals, drinks, and motorbike rental are way overpriced, and there are better options around.
