Anavada Apartment Inn

Anavada Suites looks unimpressive from outside, and you get to it down a narrow road, but inside it's really, really nice. I completely agree with the people calling it a hidden gem. We had a two bedroom suite with everything we needed, including chilled water from a dispenser. The mattresses were deep and supportive, and it was clear a lot of money had gone into the building, furniture and furnishings. There are plenty of plants in the atrium and corridors, and the ambience is great. The pool looked inviting, though we didn't have time to use it. It's tucked away on a back street, but don't let that put you off. In a more luxurious location, the owners could charge twice as much. Special mention to the staff, who were really helpful. Our flight was delayed, thanks PAL..., so we checked in quite late, and the staff stayed until we arrived. Thank you, lovely ladies. We would have booked more than one night, but the other dates we wanted were already taken.
