Eden Nature Park and Resort

Bring some snacks and water along if that’s more convenient for you, though there is a distilled water dispenser on site. The cool mountain climate meant we didn’t need air conditioning in the room. It was already pleasantly chilly when we got there, and the quiet, peaceful setting made it a nice place to unwind.

We had lunch at the Fishing Village, where the food was excellent and the cooking really stood out. The surroundings were beautiful and refreshing, and there were lots of fun activities and rides for the kids and the rest of the family. It made for a memorable getaway with plenty of laughter and time together. Recommended for a relaxing trip that still has plenty to do.

The shuttle ride around the property cost P430 per adult and stopped at three photo spots. Our guide was funny and informative. We also paid the P500 consumable entrance fee at the Fishing Village and put it toward lunch, since we didn’t fish. At Sky Adventure, the Skycycle and Zip line combo was P400 per person, and the Skywheel was, I think, P200 each. The experience was amazing, though I wouldn’t do the Skywheel again. It made me dizzy and was hard to steer because it wobbled a lot even when I followed the instructions. You can pick printed photos for P150 apiece, but they don’t offer digital copies. They took credit cards, cash, or gcash in the rest of the Resort. For photos, payment was cash or gcash only. It works for a day trip or a staycation.

The shuttle tour is a handy way to cover Eden Nature Park & Resort’s huge grounds and hear about the different attractions. There’s plenty to do, from the Skycycle and Skyrider to horseback riding, fishing at the Fishing Village, and the Butterfly Garden. I especially enjoyed wandering through the gardens and past the tall pine trees, stopping at scenic viewpoints and listening to the birds in the quiet forest atmosphere. Meals were another highlight. The restaurants served delicious food, and it was nice to know many ingredients came from the resort’s own gardens. Eating with that landscape in view made it even better. Up in the mountains outside busy Davao, the resort felt like a real escape. The air was cool and fresh, with greenery all around, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. It’s a peaceful place to slow down and reconnect with nature. With the views, activities, and relaxing feel, I’d recommend it to families, couples, or anyone after a nature getaway. I’d love to return.
