Park Avenue Residence Inn and Suites

I spent one night in the standard deluxe room, booked through agoda. Breakfast for two was included, with silog and coffee or hot chocolate. Early check-in costs 100 pesos per hour, and an extra blanket is 100 pesos. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out. It’s within walking distance of SM lanang, and there’s a 7 11 nearby. The room was spacious, but the property shows clear wear. The remote controls were very dusty, while the towels were still okay. There’s no bottled water in the room, though each floor has a water station. I didn’t like the blankets because they weren’t soft. They should replace them.

For about P2,000, we had a very clean, spacious room with two queen size beds, plenty of shampoo and soap, and a balcony. It’s near SM Lanang and Ayala Abreeza. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and didn’t work at all. Maybe restarting or moving the routers would help.

The Wi-Fi was good and the aircon kept the room cool, but I found the stay expensive. You can get the same or even better comfort and facilities at reddoorz properties for half the price. I was put in an exective twin room with beds that were too narrow, separated by a concrete wall, and the comforts only just fit a standard room. The water stopped while I was showering, and the stairs are steep, which is rough for seniors and pwds. The remotes didn’t work. Breakfast was cheap, and although I was asked which drink I preferred and specified one, they gave me 3n1 anyway. You might as well get coffee at 711 nearby. They don’t serve drinking water; you have to take it from the fridge yourself, and the crew share from the pitcher.

PARIS is a good value if you want a no-frills stay. It’s near SM Lanang, the price is very good, and there’s parking out front or at the side. A laundry shop is right next door. The staff are friendly, and check-in was easy.
