The only thing that brought the location rating down for me was the small parking area. Otherwise, Q8 hotel impressed me. The rooms were good quality, the bed was comfortable, and the other room amenities were great. The staff also made us feel welcome and were very friendly.

It’s quiet and feels safe here, and the staff are accommodating. The hotel was among the cleanest I’ve stayed in. The room had what a guest would need, including a refrigerator, which I’ve never had in a hotel before. For an affordable place, it also felt elegant. Great management, definitely a five for me.

We usually book here, so the recent mix-up was disappointing. We reserved 24 hours but were booked for just 12. The front desk needs to communicate better and take responsibility, with transactions documented properly so guests aren’t given misleading information. I hope they change the system and follow the reservation details next time.

The room worked well for me as a solo traveler. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there was a minibar for food and drinks. I could also connect my laptop to the TV through its HDMI slots. The hotel stayed clean during my visit, and it seemed to get mopped every day. They provided two towels and a bar of soap. Staff were helpful with practical things, like pointing me to nearby laundry and print shops. Once, when I brought back takeout soup, they lent me a bowl. The chef’s meals surprised me with their flavor, and I’d often choose a new dish based on what sounded good that day. The attendants were also willing to learn different languages, and helped me practice Tagalog while I shared a few words from the five languages I speak. That made communication easier. I had a very good stay.

The service was awful. I asked if I could refill my water bottle at their station, but a staff member took it into the kitchen, where I couldn’t see where she filled it. When it came back, it was only half full and tasted foul, almost impossible to drink. The floor was dirty when I entered the room. I called the front desk, and they told me all the rooms had the same floors. The TV only had free channels, which I wouldn’t have minded if the signal weren’t so poor that it was hard to watch anything. I rarely post feedback about places I stay, but I wanted to warn future travelers. Everything was bad, and I wouldn’t book here again.
