The room was spacious and clean, and the quiet surroundings let me sleep without interruption. The bathroom setup is strange, though. A big curtain covers the area where a sliding double door should be, so it only works if you’re comfortable using the bathroom around whoever you’re staying with. The listing promised satellite cable, but after I’d booked three nights through the app, I was told the cable wasn’t working when I went back to the desk for the remotes. I suspect they hadn’t paid the bill. I’d have rated the stay 4 or 4.5 stars, but having no TV and not being told until after I’d paid really ruined it.

The staff went out of their way to help with everything, and the hotel would be my first choice if I return to Davao. It has attractive grounds and a homey feel, with a large room, comfortable bed, hot shower, and good air conditioning.

The rooms are lovely, and the lower-level ones have pocket gardens. The owners and staff really make you feel at home. On my first visit I was feeling unwell, and the owner had his crew get medicine for me. He has sadly passed away, but the level of care is still just as good.

Good value for the money, with friendly service and clean linens. There’s a community grocery across the street and a convenience store open 24 hours just a block away. The boutique-style rooms are cozy and reasonably priced, and the airport and abreeza mall are easy to reach.

Booking online went smoothly. My room was clean, smelled nice, and had fresh bed covers and pillowcases. It’s close to the airport, which worked fine for me.
