RedDoorz near Damosa Lanang Davao

The staff were nice, but I wouldn’t choose this for a work trip. The room is small, and the desk barely fits a laptop. There isn’t another table for your belongings, so I ended up putting mine on the bed. I did like the bathroom flooring, though the faucet is tiny too.

At night, the traffic outside is audible from the room. Bring earplugs.

The bathrooms matter a lot to me, and I’d give these a 10. They also remind guests not to waste water. The staff were welcoming, and the rooms are cozy. On our first visit we had a room with an overlooking view, which I liked. The TV channel selection is limited, but that was fine. Getting around is easy: it’s close to SM stores and about 10 minutes from the airport.

The location is great, and the hotel is small but okay. I think there are better, cheaper choices in the same area. My first room felt far too small for a deluxe. That evening, heavy rain came in and water poured onto the headboard. We asked to move, and the replacement room was more spacious. I don’t know why they hadn’t put me there to begin with. On our third night, the fire alarm went off and guests panicked. We ran downstairs and were told it was a false alarm. The staff looked as if they were having fun.
