MAYAD El Nido Inn

The three-bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel offers good value. It doesn’t have the ultra-luxury feel of some nearby resorts, but we had a really enjoyable stay. There’s also a free sunset cruise, and their island-hopping tours are through a reliable company at the same prices as local agencies, without the extra fees many hotels add. We were disappointed with breakfast at first. The manager was kind, apologized, and asked how they could make things better. We noticed a real effort after that. It’s a new hotel, so they’re still learning and adjusting, and it shows that they’re trying. The staff were friendly and helpful, though we waited more than 15 minutes for iced tea and nearly 40 minutes for breakfast, much too long. The design mixes a European feel with Filipino touches. Just to be clear, it isn’t connected to the international Amari brand. I think the hotel will keep improving as the team gains experience.

The ready-made itinerary made it easy to plan our stay, and the staff were friendly and quick to help. We enjoyed the food, too, and the facilities and views made the time there feel special. It was a relaxing, well-organized place with both comfort and convenience. Water supply was slow, though, and a breakfast buffet would be a nice addition.

The view from the pool deck was the highlight for us! We had three wonderful days at Amari The Inn at El Nido, and felt special as soon as we walked into the lobby. Eric, the general manager, and his team were so welcoming. We appreciated all the extras: a complimentary high end cocktail at the pool bar, drinks in the room minibar, free airport pick up and drop off, and daily shuttles to nearby beaches, including Nacpan Beach. The restaurant served delicious food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant were lovely places to unwind, with breathtaking cliff views. Amari is brand new, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. It’s close to the town center but still peaceful, away from the bustle. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, including a smart TV, and breakfast was a delicious start to the day. The staff were always friendly and ready to help, whether arranging tours or making sure the room was just right. I’d recommend Amari to anyone visiting El Nido and can’t wait to return.
