We booked at the last minute and weren't sure what to expect after reading other people's comments. The room turned out to be modern, clean, and fresh compared with other places we'd stayed. Staff were very kind, and there was no outside noise from barking dogs or scooters, or any mosquitoes. For the price, the quality was very good. Honestly, if loud A/C bothers you, maybe your needs call for a bigger budget or a holiday somewhere else, like Dubai. :) X

I was very disappointed. I made a reservation online, and it was canceled before I could arrive. Their website doesn't offer online card payment, and instead of honoring my booking, they gave the room to someone who could pay immediately. Be careful when booking here. Update/Response The screenshot shows an "appropriate response time" of four minutes before they decided to cancel on the day I was arriving. I replied 30 minutes later because I was on a flight when the messages and one phone call came in. You don't have signal access on a flight. They made the cancellation decision after four minutes of my supposed "non-response." Their "multiple" attempts to reach me were one phone call, as the screenshot shows. They waited four minutes, then told me they were canceling my reservation to offer the room to someone else. I don't understand the owner's false account when the screenshot clearly shows what happened. I've also attached a screenshot of their 'policy.' It doesn't say they can cancel your booking, and says it's the guest's responsibility to arrange payment. The dishonesty is in writing. It's up to you whether to risk having your booking canceled on arrival day because they won't honor a reservation and don't offer instant payment on their website like most other businesses in the area. They blame potential customers instead of taking accountability. They only tried to contact me after someone else showed up, even though my reservation had been made in advance. Very poor business practice and dishonesty. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Overpriced, and never again. The bathroom light didn't work, there was no hot water in the shower, and the air conditioning was so loud I couldn't sleep. There was phone signal in the room, but no Wi-Fi. I've traveled all across Asia, and this was the worst hotel I've stayed in anywhere in the region, largely because of the service.

At least the room was clean and spacious, but it cost too much for what you get. The supposedly amazing view was actually of a building under construction in front of the room. There was no hot shower either.
