Morning Walsh Resort El Nido

The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was spacious, and there weren’t too many bugs. Breakfast was okay, though the choices were limited. We really liked the hotel, but I wish there had been a lock box. I believe I was missing 4000 -6000 php from the room, which makes me wonder.

I’m very upset that my hard-earned money is gone. I counted everything after checking out and found I was missing 6000 php and 2,200 rmb, more than 400 US dollars. I’m pretty sure our money was taken when room service came that one time, though I feel dumb for not counting it while we were still there. The three girls who run the place all looked extremely sneaky, and there’s no lockbox. I’d strongly advise caution if you stay here.

The staff were really helpful, and I’d highly recommend booking island tours through them. They offer the best rates, and pickup and drop are right across your stay, which is convenient. There’s also a tuk tuk stand just 50-60m away for getting to other places. The rooms are spacious, clean, and affordable, and the resort is beachfront. Breakfast was good and included with the booking. I’d recommend it for an El Nido vacation.

The rooms were fresh-smelling, clean, and well maintained, and the garden was lovely. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The massages here were the best in the area, and the sea view from the terrace was breathtaking, truly the best around. A heartfelt thank you to the manager for being so kind and warm. Everyone’s availability and help, especially when we needed an unexpected extra night, meant a lot. People in the Philippines are known for being lovely, respectful, and sincere, and this resort embodies that authenticity. A little piece of paradise, 10/10.
