OYO 689 Mando Mango Inn

Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Em-em. They arranged our island tour and van to the airport. We even visited a nearby church on Sunday. The place was close to the beach, market, shops, and restaurants, and the Wi-Fi was good. There’s grilled chicken, an eatery, and a barber shop. The surrounding area was a work in progress, but the place itself was okay for the price.

It still needs work. The door knobs should be replaced, and the sink faucet sprays everywhere and needs an overhaul. The towels are so new they leave bits on your skin. Maybe things will be better once the renovation is finished, I think.

The staff were very accommodating during our three-night stay. The room was decent and had good air conditioning and strong Wi-Fi, though we were near the router. There’s no TV and no toiletries apart from a towel. You can access the beach nearby.

We stayed for over a month and didn’t see a single bug or other “guest” in our second-floor room. The room came with fresh bedding, towels, soap, toilet paper, shampoo, air conditioning, a TV, and good Wi-Fi. El Nido can have temporary water and electricity cutoffs, but we never had trouble at Mando Mango thanks to its water station and generator. The staff were helpful and quick to reply, and you can arrange tours, transfers, or a bike with them. The location is really convenient for stepping out to the beach or market, or catching a ride to El Nido or Las Cabanas.
