RicGem gave us a peaceful break from El Nido's main strip, while still being close enough to enjoy the town. The family running it were kind and attentive, and we were happy to find such a budget-friendly hotel. There was fresh water and coffee ready to have, plus a pleasant covered spot to sit and relax. I'd seen comments about the lack of hot water, but it didn't bother us. After a long day in the heat, a cold shower felt refreshing.

The staff were really nice, and there was fresh water and coffee downstairs. Our room was quiet, dark in the morning, and had everything we needed for a restful night. The sheets, floor, and bathroom were clean, and the air conditioning worked without being too noisy. I'd definitely come back and recommend it.

The rooms were clean, the WiFi signal was strong, and the water was good too. The owner and staff were accommodating and very helpful, and they provided great service throughout our stay. I'll return next time. Thank you, RicGem.

This place was one of the reasons we had such an amazing time in El Nido. The staff were so accommodating, and you can ask them to cook food for you for an extra service charge, which really helps you save money. Breakfast was served between 6:30am-7:30am, with free coffee in the morning. The room was neat, the beds were fine, I think it was a double bed, and they can change the sheets if you ask. It was quiet, had CCTV, and the utensils were clean and organized. The air conditioning worked well, and there was also an electric fan and hangers. A few things could be better. The heater was there, but the water still felt cold. The room lighting was dim, and the drinking water tasted a bit salty and didn't seem well filtered to me. WiFi didn't reach most rooms, so you had to go to the lobby to use it. The connection was slow, and the signal was weak for Smart/TNT users. Stores and the shore were easy to get to.

Jester was especially professional, helpful, and friendly, and even gave me a free lift to the bus station, so I added a star for him. I found the place on TripAdvisor and walked in. It was about a five-minute walk from the beach, and because it was Low Season I got a discounted room and booked three nights. The small room had what I needed and was clean, though I felt it needed a deep clean. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but I slept well. You can book tours with the staff. They also offer laundry service, but I wasn't very happy with it because my clothes weren't completely clean. Still, it's good value, and I'd stay again.
