Rosanna's Pension

After a horrid stay at a more expensive resort, we were so glad to be here. The location was great, within walking distance of all the restaurants and cafes. We had a street-facing room, but it was relatively soundproof. You could hear tricycles and car horns outside, though we got used to it easily. The room was cleaned each day when we asked, and the air conditioning and overhead fan were lush. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom smell was sometimes unpleasant, and the rooms could use new pillows. It was a decent stay, and we'd happily return.

The room was large, with a veranda, big beds, and extra foam for larger groups. There’s a private restroom, and the staff were very accommodating. You can order food from the cafe downstairs and have it brought to your room. We did have some trouble with the power and water during our visit, which was inconvenient, but the staff worked to sort it out. The stay was good overall.

It feels like staying in a home, since this pension is literally a house. There’s no elevator, so keep that in mind. The view is amazing, and a few steps from the back door puts you right at the waves. It’s close to everything, and the breakfast was great. I especially loved the pancakes and black coffee.

We stayed a few days with the family, and the balcony view felt like paradise. Our room was spotless and spacious, with plenty of room for our luggage, and the staff were friendly and helpful even when we arrived very early. Hama Café downstairs has the same beautiful view, so we were happy to have breakfast there even though it wasn’t included in our booking. The only difficulty was getting our elderly parents and their large suitcases up the stairs to the third floor, since there’s no elevator. Still, the view more than made up for it. I’d recommend Rosanna’s Pension for an affordable stay with lovely views and good service.
