Buddha Resort

The location made it easy to enjoy both sides of General Luna, with a relaxed spot between the Cloud9 surf area and the busier places to eat and hang out. The resort itself was peaceful, with clean, roomy rooms and lots of thoughtful touches. Staff were always smiling, kind, and ready to help. We also loved the food and coffee at 'silk road', the restaurant in the complex. It was an extraordinary stay on Siargao, and I’d recommend it to anyone. I hope to return to the island and this beautiful resort. Thank you for everything!

The surf package was so well arranged, and our instructors, Balong and Clarince, were the best coaches we’ve met. The waves suited beginners, and they helped us feel safe the whole time. Thanks for being so patient! We also really enjoyed the food, and the receptionists went out of their way to make every request possible. Buddha is a welcoming, almost magical place, with friendly and accommodating people. It’s not right on the beach, but the lovely beach is only a five-minute walk away. We had a real treat from start to finish and would highly recommend staying here.

The pool, yoga, and in-house restaurant were nice extras, and the food was really good. I found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with good value for the price. The resort has a peaceful, green setting and a relaxed, authentic Siargao feel, which made it a great place to unwind. Staff were warm and helpful, whether I needed help with tours, yoga lessons, or transport. A cozy, enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

We liked our stay enough to add another night. Our room was very quiet and one of the most comfortable we had in the Philippines. The shower drain was clogged at first, but they took care of it, and room service noticed what we needed without being asked, like bringing a drying rack for our clothes. Reg at reception sorted out what we needed after some unclear communication at the start, and Ayen and the rest of the restaurant team were sweet and friendly. The food was delicious, too. The yoga teachers were dedicated and professional, and our private surf lessons were the icing on the cake. We’d love to come back!
