Shandong Residences

The neighborhood was noisy, with cars, karaoke, and people shouting. I ordered room service twice, and only got a 10% discount the second time. It's nice that they told me, but if I had known earlier, I would have gone downstairs to pick up my plate. The room was basic, about what we paid for, but there were cockroaches, and the window looked onto service stairs and a wall, so there was no light. With so many empty rooms, I would have liked at least one with a window. The bedsheet was completely torn, the sink faucet was broken, and the floor was dusty. Fine for one night, but not luxurious like the office suggests. The hotel is unreachable if you're a foreigner without a local number. I left something in the room and nobody told me. I tried contacting them several times and never got a reply.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days. Reception and the other employees were extremely attentive and helpful. The rooms were disappointing, though. The door in our first room was faulty and wouldn't lock, so we had to change rooms. The bathrooms in both were bad, smelled of plumbing, and had a small hose-style shower. There are MANY nightclubs for girls around the hotel, which isn't good for couples.

Very affordable, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and just right for a simple stay.
