A comfy big bed and really friendly staff. This is a small homestay run by pro surfers, with just four units on a nice patch of land, cosy chairs, and hammocks. There’s no wifi, which suited me because I wanted to switch off, and the TV is quiet. The kitchen is excellent, and the people are super friendly. Healthy food is across the street, and you can walk to everything. Breakfast starts at 9 a.m., and it stays open late. There were a few basic maintenance issues: the front door lock needed attention and the roof leaked. Power outages can also be an issue sometimes. The accommodation is right on cloud nine break, with plenty of locals around.
