I especially liked how calm and homey Isla Cuatro Homestay felt. With just four rooms, it never felt crowded, and it was easy to unwind there. It’s on the backroad, close to key places around Siargao but away from the busy town center. It’s also budget-friendly. The room had the basics I needed after a day exploring: a comfortable bed, work area, air-conditioning, wall fan, and private toilet and bath. There were shelves and a clothes rack, too. It felt spacious enough to relax in, and an extra mattress is available for groups or families of up to four. There’s no formal reception, so arrangements are handled online. I was in touch with the host before arriving, and got clear instructions on how to get into the room even before my flight. Check-in was simple and hassle-free. The host was warm, and the stay had a relaxed, home-away-from-home feel.

Check-in and check-out both went smoothly, and the host was quick to respond and help with whatever we needed. The homestay was clean and cozy, with a real home-away-from-home feel. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it, five stars!

I had a comfortable week here with my five- and three-year-old children. The room was super clean, and the host replied incredibly fast. It’s the cleanest place I’ve stayed in Siargao. I’ll definitely come back next time!

The Shell room was very clean and the hostess was nice. There were ants and bugs in the room, though. She tried spraying for them.
