La Luna Island Resort

The resort is very clean, and the staff are nice. Room no.5 in the superior deluxe category has the biggest bed. There’s a termite problem in the roof, though, and little sand-like wooden balls ended up all over the place every day. The resort is along the main road between cloud 9 and general luna, so it’s well located. You’re set if you rent a bike.

I paid about $70 through agoda and found the value really poor. The view from my room was a construction site for their new rooms, just 3 meters from the door. Nearby, I found a guesthouse with rooms of similar quality, though smaller, for a third of the price. It’s not a bad place overall, but the basic rooms felt far too expensive. I was extremely disappointed, and it was the worst value I’ve had in my travels.

Even though it’s along the main road, the place felt peaceful and relaxing, and it was easy to get to restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were friendly and helpful with planning our itinerary. Regielyn and MaiMai went out of their way to find us an affordable motorcycle rental and cook the food we requested. The property is attractive and spacious, and the price was reasonable. Keep it up!

The staff were so kind and helped us with all our questions. They also had plenty of contacts for island activities, so we went island hopping, surfed, rented a motorbike, and arranged an airport transfer. We were happy with all of it, and the prices felt very fair. Try the mango juice, it’s the best in Philippines! We had an amazing stay.
