The location is excellent, right across from the city's biggest mall, with almost everything else we needed within a reasonable walk. Door security was top-notch, and the airport shuttle was a big help. The rooms are great, and this may be one of the best hotels in GenSan. Service was a little uneven for me. Everyone was kind, but room cleaning wasn't consistent. They also have a rule against leaving luggage after checkout if there's a laptop inside. That could be a major problem for people, as it was for me, though they eventually accommodated my request.

After breakfast, we were heading to the pool because my son wanted to swim. I'd been sitting at a long table for about an hour when the captain waiter put a reserved tag on it. There hadn't been a sign when I sat down, and other guests started looking, so I moved to another table to avoid causing trouble. It would help if reserved tables were marked before guests sit down. We still had a pleasant stay, and the pool was great for families.

My wife says the way to stay sane in Gensan is to spend the days at SM mall and the nights here. I like our little farm in the province, but she has a point. When the city's noise and dirt get to be too much, this is a good place to relax. It's almost flawless and everything is up to Western standards.

The parking area is a bit tight, but the rooms meet modern hotel standards. Great pool and awesome food.
