Jeamco Royal Hotel - General Santos

The deluxe room felt too small for two people, so I’d suggest booking a presidential or family room instead. The rooms were clean, the staff polite, and the location is handy for the malls. Breakfast was included in the budget price. A really good budget hotel.

After six years in the Philippines and stays at plenty of hotels, I appreciated getting a proper blanket here instead of just a bedsheet. I could sleep without freezing, and the shower was great too. The bed was comfortable, the room and surroundings were clean, and the staff were approachable and always ready to help. It felt like a safe area, with lots of food options and restaurants nearby, as well as the city’s main attractions and shopping malls. I was fully satisfied and, insha Allah, I’ll stay with them again.

For a one-night stay, this budget hotel was fine, and it’s conveniently close to KCC, gmall, and SM. Our room had some wear, the AC was a little faulty, and there were issues with both the light and AC, though staff fixed them quickly. They ask for a 500php deposit, which is fully refunded after checkout. Towels and a hygiene kit are provided, but there wasn’t a garbage bin in the room. You can buy food and snacks in the lobby.

It was easy to check in after booking a Deluxe room for a few nights through an app, and I’d stay here again. The bathroom was roomy and very clean, with a big basin and mirror, a bidet, and a shower with good hot water. Towels, soap, and shampoo were supplied. My bedroom was quite small, with a double bed, side table, coffee table, air-con, and TV. There was a light switch and two powerpoints by the bed, plus free wifi. The hotel has stairs as well as a lift. I saw housekeeping cleaning a room floor and they were very thorough. The location is excellent, opposite Gaisano Mall and about 100 meters from KCC Mall, with SM Mall and Robinson's nearby too. There’s also a bank and 7-Eleven close by, and plenty of tricycles outside. Staff were very friendly, and drinks and snacks were available from a fridge. Bigger rooms with street views are offered at a higher price.
