We paid 2,400 per night for a family room, and it felt like a much more expensive place. It was roomy and had a medium-sized refrigerator. I really liked the bathroom, shower, and toilet, especially the bathtub, and the beds were very comfortable. The ceiling has a distinctive Z design, and the paintings made the room look even nicer. The internet was super fast too. For a family staying in Gensan City, this place is definitely affordable.

The location is great, close to Tiongson Arcade, where there are lots of grilling restaurants worth visiting. Just watch out for the overpriced fruit sellers on the street. The rooms were spacious and clean, the ACs worked well, and the staff were approachable.

The staff didn't seem bothered when I raised concerns. The room phone wasn't working, so I had to go out to reception just to ask for fresh towels. The rooms were mouldy and had a mouldy smell too.

The staff were approachable and took care of my concerns, though they can be noisy in the morning. I stayed on the first floor, where parking was just outside the door. If you're on the second floor, I think parking is first come, first served. Wifi on the first floor was very reliable, and I used Google Meet without interruptions. Breakfast with coffee was free during my stay, and they have a menu depending on availability. The standard deluxe was 900 plus per day with breakfast included. The standard deluxe is good for two. It has a mini fridge, water heater, small chair and table, hot shower, and toiletries including a toothbrush, mini soap, shampoo, and a water bottle. The aircon worked and had a timer. The tub doesn't fill, but you can shower in it. For directions from Davao by bus, get off at Bus Stop Lagao, then take a trike to Tiongson. Caltex Lagao street is on the right, and Zanrock signage is on the left. The place is accessible by trike to Robinson, KCC, and Veranza. It's also about a 100-meter walk, or a trike ride, to 7'11, mcDo, and Jollibee Lagao. Orlando Restobar is nearby too, and has a private videoke room.
