One Serenata Hotel Bacao

The beverages were overpriced, and the staff weren't accommodating. I ordered four bottles of water but was charged for five, then asked to pay again at checkout. I won't come back. It wasn't worth the price. The online pictures made the place look fancy and tidy, and a 24-hour stay with breakfast included seemed like a good deal. On arrival, though, it felt like a motel rather than a hotel. The deluxe room, priced at 1800k+, had a very low bed, a toilet that wouldn't flush, and felt suffocating. I requested an upgrade for comfort and got a superior room, but its bathroom smelled nasty. Even with the door only slightly open, the odor spread through the room. The aircon didn't keep it cool, and the Wi-Fi was slow.

The room and toilet were clean, and the main-road location makes this decent motel easy to spot. It's close to my workplace, so it's convenient when I want to sleep before heading back to the province. Wi-Fi was spotty, though, and the room wasn't soundproof. I could hear cars outside and some of the other garage rooms opening and closing. Good for a short stay.

The food and drinks cost too much, and there aren't any convenience shops nearby, so you're left buying their expensive items. They don't even provide free water. A bottle of water costs an arm and a leg. The Wi-Fi was painfully slow and wouldn't even connect. The entrance is untidy and informal, so I didn't feel welcome. Management wasn't open to requests I had as a traveller. The place is very expensive for what it offers, and I don't recommend it. I'm never coming back.
