The room and bathroom were dirty: there was an underwear in a drawer, pee left in the toilet, hair and dirt on the bathroom floor, and red stains and dirt on the room floor. The bed and pillowcases smelled, as if they hadn’t been washed. We were warned we’d be charged for stains, which made me wonder if they were trying to cut back on laundry detergent. The air conditioner had broken buttons, so we couldn’t adjust it and slept in a cold room. They charged for a bathroom rug even though it helps prevent slips after bathing, and the tissue left by the previous guest hadn’t been replaced. Staff were busy chatting and scrolling through videos instead of greeting guests. For 1,800 a night, this was the worst hotel in Tarlac for us. Management seemed poor, and the cleaning staff need more training in sanitation. I wouldn’t come back.

I’d recommend Nick Hotel Gerona to anyone looking for a place to stay. Our visit was better than we expected in every way, whether you’re in town for work or a getaway. ☺️

There’s no fuss here, and the rooms are clean, though some people may find them small. The air-conditioning is good, and the staff were attentive even though they seemed short-handed. You have to order bottled water since drinking water isn’t provided. When the hotel is full, the pressure can sometimes be too low to reach the second floor. That happened on checkout day, so get your bathing and other bathroom stuff done while the water’s running. 🤣😂🤣 Maybe that’s why Filipino bathrooms always have pails.

The room had a bad smell, and the sink was clogged. Shower pressure was weak too. The staff’s service didn’t help the stay, which felt far from satisfactory overall. It was expensive for what we got, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. It looked more like a motel.

The location is excellent, and the facilities are good, with ample parking and a great swimming pool. Receptionists provided excellent service, but housekeeping gets a low rating because they didn’t clean our rooms. Breakfast was average.
