The place is good value at 8/10, and I found it clean at 9/10. Security and access get 7/10, but amenities are 3/10 and sound isolation is just 4/10. Guimbal banwa is noisy, so light sleepers may get only five or six hours. A dog barked until 11pm, then the Catholic church woke me at 5am. Noise from outside was worse than inside, though both need improvement, and the windows rattled in the wind every ten seconds or so. Downstairs there’s a cafe and grocery store, both closing at 10pm. The main gate is locked then until about 6am, so expect to stay in your room overnight. It adds security, but I don't know what the plan is for an emergency. Buti nalang may fire escape sila. The electricity was being repaired during my stay, so it cut in and out at night and they ran a generator during the day. There was enough power at night to charge my phone, so it didn't change my review. When the power went out, the fan stopped, but I didn't see mosquitoes and the room wasn't too hot, so it wasn't a problem. They provide just one pillow per person, the towels are cheap, and there’s no shampoo or other extras.
