Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa, Palawan

The location is such a winner that it makes you willing to put up with quite a bit. Service was excellent everywhere apart from the one restaurant, where it was patchy. Maybe they were short staffed, but with a limited menu and buffet breakfast, we had to remind them to refill the water dispenser and butter and turn on the toaster. The rooms look very 1990s, and the bathrooms badly need an update. Even basic things like towel rings and hand towel racks were missing, which matters at a beach resort. Still, the location is incredible.

It's a beachfront hotel with a beautiful view and very clean water, and we loved it. The rooms are a bit old, but fine for the price. The location was inconvenient because it was far from the main road, probably only this time due to a road closure for the flood project. The hotel does have a service van that takes guests to the mall at certain times. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the GM was very accommodating. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

I had a great time here. The pool and peaceful bench area were lovely, and trying paddle boarding was a highlight. The rooms were very comfortable, and the price felt reasonable for what was included. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

The beach is right outside the room, and the view from the door is amazing. The mangroves around it make for a killer beach. People here are kind and wonderful, the rooms are clean, and the food is great. There’s lots of room to lounge by the pool with a delicious cocktail, and a great guy plays live music. This was such a jaw-dropping experience, I wish I could give it 20 stars. Thank you very much.
