Kilyawan Farm Resort

Our child is still talking about the tractor ride and asking to return to his “tractor resort.” That was the highlight for him, and the free farm tour, animal feeding, and friendly, informative guide made it fun for all of us. The big, clean pool also felt very kid friendly, with greenery all around it. We booked one night to get a break from our busy school and work routines. The Queen room was roomy, with a large bathroom, coffee nook, and porch. Staff were patient and attentive, and the Facebook admins, and I think the owners, answered all my questions so we knew what to expect. I told them about my child's limited diet, and they let us bring his food at no extra charge. They also reminded us to be careful about eating in the cabin because it could attract ants. We liked the restaurant's al fresco setting and enjoyed snacks, dinner, and breakfast there. The food and accommodation felt a bit pricey, though I thought the food was good. It was a relaxing respite from city life, with its own rustic, contemporary farm feel. Once our schedules free up, we'd like to return with more family. I hope it stays as we found it. ❤️

The pool was wonderful, and the staff were attentive. We had a great time on the tractor tour around the property, seeing the different livestock and learning about them. I'd definitely come back.

The main disappointment was the food. We spent about 7k on lunch and dinner, with breakfast included in the room rate, and didn't enjoy most of what was served. I liked the iced kapeng barako and the tablea champorado with dilis. The menu choices were okay, but the taste and portion sizes need work. It would also help if the menu said how many people each serving is for. We stayed one night, from Black Saturday to Easter Sunday, and had a pleasant visit overall. The staff were friendly, the service and farm tour were superb, and the master villa and en suite bathroom were spacious. It was peaceful while we were there. We hope to come back sometime and try an improved menu.

The farm tour was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We saw pigs, chickens, and goats, and got to take the whole tour on a tractor. Our family loved it, and it felt like a one of a kind experience. Kilyawan Farm Resort is an easy trip from our place, about an hour and a half away. It's convenient to reach from urban Manila, yet far enough to feel like a proper holiday. The quiet surroundings helped me relax a lot. The food was great, and the staff were kind and courteous. There's massage available if you want to unwind more, and Wi-Fi for rent if you need to stay connected. I really think it's worth visiting.
