We ate dinner in the courtyard, where the string lights made the space feel lovely without being distracting. The menu has lots of choices, Filipino and Western, and the meals are made to order. I had an authentic English breakfast, and the food was delicious. The rooms are clean, the shower is hot, and the air conditioning gets cold. They're small, but there's enough room to move around, and the balcony overlooking the courtyard helps make it feel more spacious. The staff are welcoming and keen to help.

The food wasn't satisfying, and the room rate felt high for the room's size and quality. Parking also needs to be provided properly, since guests were leaving cars along the narrow public road. There was no in-room phone to call reception or make outside calls. The shower wasn't as good as it used to be, with no strong hand spray and the overhead shower mounted very high near the ceiling. Outside noise came through the poorly soundproofed walls, so we could hear hotel staff shouting to each other between the reception and the other building.

A cozy little corner in Ilagan for a quiet, relaxing day on your own. It's a temporary hideaway where you can sit with a good book. Just keep in mind it's not the Ritz. The menu has plenty of appealing options, and Bulalo is my favorite.

The cozy patio gives you the option of eating outdoors, or you can sit inside. There's a shelf of books you can borrow, too. They have lots on the menu, from Filipino food and pasta to cakes, cookies, chocolates, and a variety of drinks. The portions are good and the food is tasty. Be sure to try the Spaghetti Bolognese!

The employees and owner are so gracious, and their smiles really stood out to me. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the service was outstanding. This was my first time experiencing such a good-quality hotel at a very affordable price. ❤️
