If you’re trying to keep costs down, this place may work, but rooms aren’t cleaned regularly and the property generally isn’t well maintained. The bathrooms are run down, with rusty faucets and rusty water coming out. The front desk is the bright spot: the staff are friendly and try to meet requests as much as they can. I’d only stay here if saving money is the priority.

I booked four nights here because most places in Iligan were full. My room was 600 pesos a night, so the price was very low, but I wouldn’t choose it if there were other options. They only clean rooms when you ask, and the bathrooms are moldy and clearly don’t get deep cleaned often. Breakfast wasn’t worth the price: the oily Bangusilog was just a quarter bangus for 120 pesos. They also ran out of mugs for coffee. The staff were generally nice, but didn’t seem trained to deal with customers well.

I had a really bad experience with the front desk. The information officer was very angry and didn’t explain the hotel rules clearly. This isn’t a good pension house to stay at, and she needs to know how to deal with customers, who understand their own limitations.

I checked in on Oct. 16, and this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The CR was bad, the water wasn’t good, the TV was old, and the cell signal was poor. At over Php1K a night, it’s too expensive compared with other hotels in town.
