The staff are why I gave Seda Atria Iloilo four stars. On both of our stays, they were consistently kind, respectful, and accommodating, with the warmth I associate with the Filipino people. I told the front desk how much I appreciated the help. They shared useful information, assisted wherever they could, and went out of their way to find airport transportation. The lobby staff kept the place secure, and the bellhops opened car doors and greeted guests. Those little things matter to me. Compared with the Marriot, where we stayed during the month of January between our two visits here, the service at Marriot didn’t come close. The room upkeep is the reason I can’t give five stars. Our first room smelled horribly moldy, like stagnant water in the air ducts, while the second was much better. The shower enclosures let water spread all over, and in the first room the glass door wouldn’t close all the way. The rooms also look worn out and need an overhaul to compete with other area hotels. We’re currently at Seda BGC, where the rooms are exceptionally clean and organized. I suggest a staff checklist after checkout that records what was checked and includes a detailed room inspection. I hope you maintain the hotel and address these issues. I look forward to staying again.

Getting around was easy, and there were plenty of good food spots nearby. The modern, welcoming feel was nice, and breakfast had enough variety to get the day started. My room at Seda Atria in Iloilo was clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged, a good place to unwind after a long day. The staff were very friendly and helpful without rushing me. Everything went smoothly, and I’d consider coming back on my next trip to Iloilo.

The New Year countdown on the Straight Up roof deck was lively and packed, with festive decorations and a band playing as everyone waited for midnight. The fireworks made the celebration extra special. Gab and his team really pulled it off, no pun intended. Earlier in the evening, Misto Resto hosted a New Year’s Eve buffet with sushi, paella negra, plenty more dishes, roast beef, and glazed ham at the carving boards. The food looked appetizing, and a chanteuse serenaded us during dinner, making the evening feel romantic and special. Gab, the F&B Manager, and the crew did a tremendous job putting both events together. We were back at SEDA Atria Iloilo City for another stay, this time over New Year’s Eve, and the warm Ilonggo hospitality felt like coming home, from security at the lobby entrance to the front desk and F&B staff. We enjoyed it all and look forward to staying here as our home in this beautiful city again. I also commend General Manager Joseph Del Rosario for leading SEDA Atria with a culture of true Ilonggo hospitality in a competitive industry. Kudos to him and the hardworking staff.

The staff are the reason I’d give this hotel 10 stars if I could, especially Miss Kyla and Miss Sophie at reception. During my business trip for Dinagyang 2026, I had a complicated personal concern, and they handled it patiently and efficiently, going the extra mile with their service. They’re the best hotel staff I’ve ever met, and I’ll always be grateful. I’ll return and recommend the hotel to colleagues visiting Iloilo. It has warm, hospitable staff, a great central downtown location, nice rooms, and a sumptuous breakfast buffet. There’s a rooftop bar with a nice view, Jollibee and Mcdonalds right in front, restaurants nearby, and Mercury Drug, Atria, SM, clubs, and bars all close by.

Seda Atria’s staff are very focused on customer service, and the breakfast spread is excellent. I can get a Grab easily, there are lots of restaurants within walking distance, and everything feels close by. Seda always feels like home away from home, with branded-hotel service, a safe and secure area, and the basic amenities I need. One suggestion: the linens could be fresher and less damp. Face towels and a stronger bathroom exhaust fan would help too.
