RedDoorz @ Southern Suites Guimaras

I’m shocked RedDoorz lets this hotel use its name. The place is a complete pigsty, and the building’s condition and filth make it clear that management doesn’t care. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and a major embarrassment for RedDoorz.

I was only there for one night, and the location is near the town proper. I arrived around 11am, but even though a room was available, the staff wouldn’t let me use it without paying ₱500 for early booking. The room they had for me was a very spacious family room, but the beds were like hospital beds, with thin mattresses, pillows, and blankets. The toilets were outside and shared. The internet was close to horrible, and I could hardly work. I’m a solo traveler sharing my experience so you can make an informed decision. Follow me on IG at @wandererva.

For the price, the room was good, and the aircon worked well. The host didn’t seem friendly and didn’t clean the room, even though I put up the “Make up room” sign. The toilet wouldn’t flush, but there was a bucket.

We left and accepted the loss after they refused to refund us, even though we offered to pay for one night. The ads were very misleading. It’s an expensive boarding house for transients, with a terrible location and amenities. Avoid it!
