Center Parkway Pension House

The rooms I saw were all reasonably comfortable, and I was shown the Queen, Single, Suite, Double-deluxe and Family room options. Prices were fair, and staying in the suite meant having two single beds, a roomy interior and a patio with a view of McDonalds and the fairly busy but not-too-loud street. WiFi worked well, and there are several fast food places nearby. They also provide free drinking water, which I always appreciate. Lilian, the owner, made the stay feel welcoming from the moment I arrived at reception. She offered snacks, made sure I had what I needed, and gave me a very good rate for a long stay. That kindness and respect meant a lot to me as a traveller, especially after meeting plenty of people who haven't shown the same courtesy. I felt comfortable and at home here, with privacy and dignity respected. The place was tidy, though it doesn't have many staff, so guests should do their part and keep things clean too. I'm someone who cleans up as I go wherever I stay. I was told that a management and maintenance team was in the works, which could help the place. I wish them well. It's conveniently close to the busy town center of Kalibo. The entrance is narrow, then there are a few stairs up to reception. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back. I'd recommend it for a pleasant, quiet stay and good value. The local government in Kalibo also treated me with kindness and hospitality.
