The staff were really friendly, and they made fried fish with rice and eggs for us as Muslim travelers. Breakfast for two was around 170 pesos, and checking in early cost 300 pesos. Just remember there's no receptionist around the clock, so let them know ahead if you're arriving early. You can also arrange a Pagudpud tour through them or hire a local tricycle driver. We had a very pleasant stay.

The garden was a cozy spot, and this was a quiet, comfortable place to sleep while I was in town for a couple of days. It was clean, reasonably priced, and breakfast was included. Wi-Fi didn't reach my room, though my mobile data worked. The bathroom drain overflowed and could use attention. Still a great option near the city if you mainly need a place to eat and sleep. I first stayed here in 2018, and this was my second review, though I still haven't found the first one. Even with Ilocos Norte under GCQ, I had another superb stay and gave the inn five stars. OBA also prefers offering this inn alongside Casimero. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and they know the local Ilocano culture and tourist spots. I think they offer guides and tour packages, and you can message them through their FB Page about deals. I may have seen one of the staff at an Expo too, they looked familiar. With GCQ limiting things, walk-ins may be hard; save their number and book ahead. At the time, guests also needed to present a medical certificate or a negative RT PCR or Antigen result. My room was nice for four people, with cold AC, a ready-to-use heater, bidet, and CATV. There was free Ilocano breakfast, good Wi-Fi overall, parking beside the inn, and food available to order. Room 206 had a poor Wi-Fi signal, though, and gets very hot at noon if you're staying there. On the upside, laundry dries fast. The bathroom was quite small, and its leaking bidet meant I had to mop up the water. I could smell freshly cooked bread too. The inn is fairly close to the city center, with a tricycle ride to the market. Nearby are 7Eleven, Chicken Atitihan, lots of sari sari stores, and some litson chicken. A Halo Halo and Fishball stand is about a five-minute walk away for meryenda. It was a comfortable, friendly place to stay, and I'd try it if you're after a budget room. If you want a fancy hotel near the city, that option is there too.

It was clean and comfortable for what it cost, and I'd recommend it, 4/5. I do wish they'd include things like shampoo and body soap, and the staff could be more accommodating. Still, it was a good stay.
