It's a small event venue, probably fine for seminars, but not if you're planning for around 200 people.

The pool is tiny, and the water was freezing. We never got used to it. The service was bad, and they lied to us. We paid 150k shillings just to swim, then the coach told us to get out. We did get a refund, but the whole thing was awful. Don't come on Thursdays either, there are lessons and they don't tell you beforehand. Please don't come here if you're in Uganda. The hotel was disgusting too, dirty and unkept, with unbelievably bad service. I hate this place. I would recommend nobody come here. It's bad, worse, the worst ever.

Their only saving grace was the cute dog by reception. Everything else was so disappointing that it pushed me to write a review, even though I don't usually do that. The standard rooms really are just standard, so don't expect much. We gave up two rooms, one because it smelled of MOLD and another because the air conditioner was very noisy and didn't work right. One of the rooms we kept had no towels. The lighting was poor, the bulbs seemed cheap, and the rugs were really dirty, like they hadn't been washed between uses. The air conditioners need major maintenance. The one in my room was taped up and looked way past its prime. The expected free breakfast wasn't included, which felt like too little for the room prices. For the same money, you can get better service at another hotel. This stay fell well below my expectations.

The warm Ilocano welcome and accommodation were a plus, but I hope they make major improvements as they recover from the typhoon. The rooms felt a little old compared with Baguio rooms at the same rate, and contingency plans need work. We were stuck there during Typhoon Egay. There was no generator, so we had to entrust everything to the Lord. We opened both doors to let air through and cool the room, as did people in other rooms. With no water, they used pool water, while we relied on mineral water for brushing our teeth and such. A demo program was underway when the power went out. That wasn't in the hotel's control, but staff should have shushed the teenagers running back and forth and talking loudly. They weren't all hotel guests. Our late-early check-in at 2:30AM wasn't properly passed on to the morning shift. As a former hotel worker, I notice these issues wherever I stay, since customer service matters in hospitality.

The staff were friendly and quick to respond to requests. I filled out the feedback form because I do want the hotel to improve, but the rooms and facilities are in very poor shape. The air conditioner and bathrooms need maintenance. More water leaked from the control knob than came out of the showerhead, and the exhaust fan didn't work. We booked with breakfast included, but it was just mahling and egg. Get to the restaurant early, since they often run out of plates and cutlery.
