Chambre Hotel Mactan

We paid 800 pesos for a towel they said we'd stained because we were in a hurry. At home, when we looked more closely, we saw the mark was makeup, and my wife has never worn makeup or foundation. I called the hotel once more, but they kept insisting the stain was ours. I can't accept that injustice, even though the amount was only 800 pesos. I hope management sees this, reviews the staff, and looks into whether this is an ongoing modus operandi. It was the worst hotel experience.

We had planned to stay six nights, but checked out early after several complaints about the frustratingly slow shower. It took ages to wash, and sometimes we used the bidet because its water flow was much better. My mom, her nanny, and my son were in another room and had the same problem.

The room and service were great, and everyone was super friendly. There's a table outside the room for eating, and it's close to the airport. The AC worked, though the room never got really cold.

The air conditioner was dusty, loud, and drying, and it gave me a sore throat. The pillows were flat, the mattress was hard, and the toilet was tiny.
