Felicity Island Hotel

The buffet breakfast had a good range of options, and the front desk staff and drivers were all friendly and welcoming. We stayed at Felicity Island Hotel from October 20 to 21. They arranged airport pickup and drop-off, which made getting around easy. Even though we arrived after 9 PM, the kitchen team kindly made us dinner close to closing time, something we really appreciated after a long day. Our queen room was clean, fresh-smelling, and the aircon worked well. The bathroom was spotless, with a bidet and hot shower, and the room was a good size and conveniently near the lobby. We paid less than PHP 1,500, so the stay was great value. We’ll book again when we’re in Cebu.

It’s an okay, simple hotel for a night before heading to the airport, and the free transfer was nice. But the beds have bed bugs. There were black dots on the sheets, and I woke up covered in bites. It was awful, and you could be scratching for the rest of your holiday. The free transfer isn’t worth it.

After our flight was delayed and our luggage went missing, we were counting on the included breakfast, but it only added to a rough night. Most of the staff seemed unsympathetic, and even a small smile was hard to come by. The driver was the exception. The airport location and shuttle are really convenient, though the room gets no sunlight at all. And around 1:30 a.m., people were shouting and running nearby.

For a quick airport layover, this worked really well. The upper floor queen deluxe room was roomy enough for two, with a big window and a modern TV that had streaming services. It was clean, fairly quiet, and the staff were courteous. The free shuttle runs both ways. I heard the walls are thin, but earplugs should help. For more than a couple of nights, I’d probably stay somewhere else.
