JPark Island Resort & Waterpark

We first visited Jpark to look at our wedding venue after The Centerpiece recommended it, and were amazed by the hospitality and customer service. Two weeks ago, on our wedding day, we were excited to bring our family and friends, and everyone loved Jpark. Nearly every staff member was professional and kind, especially Jehd, Angel, and the business lounge ladies. They took great care of us. We had separation anxiety when it was time to leave, and not a single regret. We’re already planning more events there. Thank you for creating such a great environment for guests.

My child had a great time at the water park and on the slides, so it’s a fun resort for kids. The hospitality needs a lot of work, though. Housekeeping left used coffee cups and didn’t replace our towels. Dining was a struggle too, with very few vegetarian options and incredibly slow service. Even a request for spoons took over an hour.

We had some trouble booking online with US credit cards at first, but when I emailed and called, the staff were very accommodating. We brought our family of 6 from South Korea for 4 nights, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but ended up very impressed. The staff were exceedingly friendly and well trained, the grounds were lovely and cared for, and the rooms were clean and quite large, even with 4 children. We made use of nearly everything, including the restaurants, spas, kid rec spaces, pools, beaches, and rental equipment, and it was all lovely. The amenities are comprehensive. Prices may be higher than outside the resort gates, but they were reasonable compared to what we’re used to. From fire dancing to dining over the ocean, this is the best family friendly resort. Our kids keep saying it’s a trip they’ll remember forever. If life permits, we’d love to return. Thank you JPark for the amazing staff and services.

The rooms may feel a bit old to some, but our Mactan Suite Ocean view was spacious. Orders from room service and the restaurants can take longer than expected, so order ahead if you can. And if your kids like sweet spaghetti, skip the kids’ menu version, it isn’t sweet at all. The resort is 100% kid-friendly, and the Amazon River was a highlight for both my 2-year-old and 7-year-old. The whole water park is designed with kids in mind, with plenty to keep them busy all day. The D- Throne was another memorable bit: your child rides in a little car while you scoot around the resort for 30 minutes. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Jpark Cebu to families with young kids.
