This was my second visit to La Place, and the value for money is exceptional. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean, with good air conditioning, though it is loud. The bar and food are where the place really shines. I had some of the best pizza I’ve tasted in the Philippines, the drinks are priced well, and lovely Amalia kept me entertained. It’s a hidden gem and easy to miss from the roadside, which would be a shame. Weekday evenings were quiet when I was there, though I’m told weekends are different. It was nice to relax without loud music. Thanks to all the staff for making the visit comfortable and fun. I’ll be back!

The kids had their own space to move around and play pool, and the staff made sure everyone in our big group had ordered. They looked after the children so well. All the dishes were great, and the pizza was so good I wish I could go back for more. We even got free shots for the whole table. Such a fun night, with really friendly service. I only wish we'd found this place earlier in the trip so we could've come back again and again.

We came for pizza and left happy. There were plenty of choices, and it was cooked in a pizza oven with that western pizza taste. The place had a nice atmosphere, the service was great, and the French fries were delicious too.

We stayed for a week and would happily come back if we visit Mactan/Cebu again. Our rooms were comfortable and private, and the owner was really nice. She made great drinks, plus really good breakfasts and dinners. We were usually out at lunchtime, so we didn't eat lunch there.

The rooms were very clean, and the aircon was ice cold. Jenny was so helpful and a good person to talk with. She's working on the garden, so give the outside some patience. It's close to the airport, about a 15 minute ride even when traffic is busy, and near white sand resorts, other beaches, shops, and bars. I highly recommend staying here. Tell her Jimmie sent you...
