Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu

The pool was beautiful and well cared for, and the beachfront was a lovely place to swim, lounge, and enjoy the tropical setting. The resort also had a good balance of relaxed atmosphere and polished service. We had a fantastic stay at Mövenpick Mactan Island Cebu in the Philippines. The staff were friendly and helpful wherever we ran into them, from reception and the pool to the restaurants and general enquiries. Lester at the front of house deserves a special mention. He greeted us with a real smile each day and always made time for a friendly chat. That personal touch made a difference and set a welcoming tone for the whole visit. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily recommend Mövenpick Mactan Island Cebu to anyone after a friendly, relaxing resort in the Philippines.

The team were attentive throughout and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable. Miss Justine and Miss Pat in particular made me feel like an old friend. Their breakfast chats and laughs gave each morning a cheerful start, thank you both ☺️ I spent seven nights at the Movenpick Cebu and found the stay blissfully relaxing. The private beach was a highlight, with calm, crystal-clear water, white sand, and food and drinks served by the beach. My room was clean, pleasant, and cozy, and the plush pillows were amazing. I mostly used the room for sleeping. The hotel is among the other resorts on Mactan, and it’s an easy walk or Grab ride to Shangri-la and other resorts if you want to try more restaurants or bars. Mactan Newtown, with its supermarkets and night stalls, is also close by. I was extremely happy with my stay and would gladly recommend it to family and friends visiting Cebu.

The breakfast buffet was easily the best in Cebu, with world-class quality and selection. We liked it so much that we’re coming back tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. We recently stayed at Mövenpick for three nights. There were a few hiccups at first, but Jerry, the Manager, handled our concerns professionally and made sure everything was sorted out. I’m grateful for his excellent service and dedicated leadership. The front desk team were consistently kind and made us feel valued, too. Thanks to the whole team for making the stay memorable. We’re looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow.

The staff made our trip so enjoyable. The people, food, accommodations, and entertainment were all outstanding, and I’d say the hotel has the best staff in Cebu by far. We’ll be back, and I highly recommend Movenpick in Cebu. You’ll be happy with your stay. I can’t wait to see everyone again.
